Like many standards, Ralph Rainger and Leo Robin's "If I Should Lose You" was a song written for film in the '30s. Often performed as a ballad, Geof Bradfield's "Easy Come, Easy Go" is medium-tempo and lightly swinging, opening in "2" and then walking for the 2nd chorus of soloing. Still very popular among vocalists, "If I Should Lose You" is also a versatile tune for modern jazz groups, with its harmonic movement and expressive melody allowing for a wide range of interpretations.
